Meet Lisa Miro: a 33-year Fairfield resident, mother, former small business owner, and community advocate.
A Sacred Heart University graduate with degrees in Business Administration and Political Science, Lisa built her career in municipal government. Her work in Bridgeport and Shelton has spanned community development, youth services, and public outreach — solving problems alongside residents, businesses, and local organizations.
Her service extends to local schools, youth sports, veterans organizations, emergency preparedness, and charitable causes supporting children, families, first responders, veterans, and animals in need.
From a family with deep roots in local business, Lisa understands the challenges facing working families, seniors, and small businesses. She believes in hard work, personal responsibility, and common-sense leadership.

Lisa will fight for real rate relief and against the hidden costs Hartford piles onto family budgets. As a former small business owner and a career public servant, she knows the difference between spending that serves people and spending that serves politics — and she’ll bring that judgment to every vote.
